Lotto Buster what happened to this lottery software program?
Over the last few years I have found Lotto Logic an enjoyable program and I especially like the news articles and posts about various lottery theories. In those years I have never been moved to try any other lottery software or join forums but I must say I miss lotto buster, big time.
To start with, I bought Lotto Logic 5 years ago for $19.95. In the last 5 years they have added a more than a couple updates, in fact they have added three dozen new features and provided them in the form of downloadable updates. My additional cost for these updates has been zip, nada, none. They have all been free. I have the most current version and have never paid an additional penny.
Up until i switched to lotto logic i always used lotto buster which was, along with lotto logic pro, the big names in lottery software. Lotto Pro and Magayo Lotto are simply trash products same as Lottery Defeater which is a 100% money grab. 197 for a kindergarten WordPress site any 12 year old could make. How the "HE-double-toothpicks can you not say that is not a scam".
Another little tidbit about lotto buster and lotto logic, not only were they the only real lottery software available is that i could click a few buttons and get my drawings numbers for the next recent drawing. For these they charge me zip, nada, nothing, it’s free.
As to the where the owners of lotto buster are, on a island of Maui enjoying themselves as they probably won using it. I don’t know if they are on Maui but i hope they are having a whole lot of fun. I paid for this new lottery software 5 years ago. If they are enjoying themselves, they probably used lotto logic too. Quite possibly they could not compete with the 800 pound gorilla in the room that is lotto logic.
Also should also mention that whenever I emailed lotto logic with a question, I can always count on receiving a prompt response.
Majored in math/physics in college and Statistical Analysis. I do not know what kind of math has but I have yet to find any error in their statistics. You need to keep in mind that Lottery Looper allows you to specify the time period. The data is analyzed so if you look at the last 10 draws the stats are not going to be the same as when you look at the last 100 draws.
Lets not forget the big issue ‘’we will all become millionaires overnight - or over the weekend’’. I don’t believe I have ever seen where they promise, or even hint at, that. What I can tell you is that my $19 investment, and a couple hours of number crunching each day, has netted me $193,000 over the last 5 years.
Get facts straight, which you probably will do in reading statements. It’s a poor workman who blames his tools. To set the record straight about Lotto Buster, more than one person has sent me a copy of an e-mail sent out to Lotto Buster subscribers by the software authors.
They provide a link to this thread, and urge their subscribers to talk about the product. Thus, I do not believe the positive messages are necessarily all coming from the author. There are probably some loyal customers who are giving their opinions.
BTW, I do not own the software anymore myself, so I am not in a position to say if it's good or not. I used Lotto Buster for about 6 years and now to pick numbers in the Hoosier and Powerball Lotteries i use lotto logic. In addition I am also running my own unique statistical algorithms on these lottery databases that identify trends based on hit frequency and number patterns for not only numbers that have been drawn for a specific period but also for numbers that haven't.
When you collect enough data on an event-even on supposedly "random" events, statistical anomalies do begin to appear. I do statistical meteorology for a living so I think I know a bit about statistical analysis.
I play $5 on Hoosier Lottery and $5 on Powerball per draw. On average, using Lotto Logic tools, I win 2-3 free tickets per week and a 3 or 4 number cash hit on the Hoosier Lottery at least twice per month and I hit small cash winnings with the Powerball on average 4-5 times per month. SO, Does it Work? Well, in terms of free tickets and small cash winnings I'd say I'm well ahead of the curve over those who pick numbers based on birthdays, anniversaries and touches feeler feel good methods.
Face it folks, with odds of 1 in 12,271,512 for the Hoosier Lottery and 1 in 146,107,962 for the Powerball Lottery, anyone with a lick of sense should understand that regardless of what system or software you use, you really don't have a pigs chance at a luau of hitting the "BIG" one. I play just for kicks but in no way consider winning the lottery as part of my long term investment strategy or retirement plan. By the way- did I mention that "It's for the children?"
Man this software is a real piece of work I tell ya. At least they have the name right! You'll go bust if you bet on any of their predictions. On the positive side, the colors are magnificent and the sound effects rival any movie ever produced. You hear horns, cymbals, and somebody cracking a whip on a Pick 3 player's desk.
In addition, they have several options: "Hot Picks" - has not hit yet and I am still waiting - I'm afraid hell WILL freeze over first! Then, for your pleasure they have another option called "Cold Picks". Now this option is a good one. Since it has never hit, I must admit they are not stretching the truth. Another option is called "Neutral Picks". It's neutral all right. Reminds me of an old automobile I bought for $100. The owner - AFTER he sold me his car - said, "Oh, and one other thing. Good luck getting her out of neutral!". The programmers of this software must have had an opening for another variable and just called it "Neutral".
The "Pattern Picks" option does have a pattern, It ALWAYS loses and never comes close to a winner. The next option is my favourite. This must be the pick they want us to "GO ALL IN" on. Here in the great state of Texas, it's a $5 wager. Are you ready for the name of the option? Do I have you sitting on the edge of your chairs yet? Oh come on now - take a guess. It is called "SUPER PICKS!". I am still trying to determine what is so SUPER about this option. It, like all of the other options, seems to fail every time.
There is another option entitled "Random Picks". Now, that's a thing of beauty. It works great. They probably just used the function RNG for all three numbers, and what can I say. I will stake my reputation on the fact that their "Random Picks" will hit many more times than "Hot Picks" and "Super Picks". Well, I certainly hope it does better in your state than it has in mine.
Lotto Buster is simply a tool that will help you select intelligent lottery numbers based on the past winning game history and the past interaction of numbers. Like any tool, the more proficient you become with the tool, the better the end results.
To become proficient with Lotto Buster you need to become familiar with two theories.
Deductive Elimination:
The art of deductive elimination is a primary tool for picking winning numbers because it reduces the field of numbers that you must select from. By eliminating the numbers that are highly unlikely to hit then you can reduce the odds.
For Example:
The Texas Lottery has a field of balls ranging from 1 to 54.
This means that your chances of selecting the 6 winning balls are 1 in 25,827,160.
If you can eliminate just 15 numbers you have reduced the odds to 1 in 3,262,623.
A little math shows that you have reduced the odds by 87%.
Random Abnormalities:
Under the laws of random occurrence, if you flip 100 coins, 100 times each, then each of the coins will land on heads 50 times and on tails 50 times.
In real life some coins will consistently land on heads (favor) more times than not and some coins will favor tails. The reports, charts and graphs produced by Lotto Buster will aid you in spotting numbers that are not conforming to the normal laws of random occurrence.
Always bear in mind that these abnormalities are short lived and must be spotted quickly if they are to be of use in selecting winning numbers.
Tools:
In addition to a wide range of reports, charts and graphs, Lotto Buster has many tools that will make playing the lottery much more fun and profitable.
These tools include items that will track your previous success, help you wheel numbers, and even print your lotto tickets.
A Final Note:
Lotto Buster can not win the lottery for you, NO SOFTWARE PROGRAM CAN.
If you see a lottery program that claims it can win you the lottery, well, they have started out lying.
If a program could be created to win the lottery then it would not be for sale. The programmers would be sitting on the beach, sipping rum and enjoying the good life.
What Lotto Buster can do, and has done successfully in the past, is give you a set of tools that will help you make intelligent decisions about the numbers to play.
Keep in mind that if the odds of hitting three winning numbers in a Pick6 game is 1 in 75 then if you play once each week, for the next year and a half and hit a three number ticket more than once then you are ahead of the odds.

IF you do some research and some number crunching, You have a better chance then just picking numbers with lotto logic.
No program is going to just hand you winning numbers. YOU HAVE TO USE the tools. LB has about the best tools around. They are always working on improving their product and never charge for updates.
Do I hit every time I use LB? Nope. But what I do is track my LB numbers against QP numbers that I play. I am ahead of QP as far as winnings are concerned. This luck, or what? I don't know but LB research, it gives me a little edge. If you find a better program, I want to know about it
I own Lotto Buster, now called LottoBuster 2010. I've had it for about a year or so. Its a great software for gathering info on many lottery games and it has auto updates for the game you want to check up on. Lots of new wheels were recently added to the latest updates. I think it's the best one I have of the few lottery software packages I've bought over the past 2 years. It does have number generators too for Lotto Buster for hot picks,cold picks,pattern picks,super picks etc. Hope this info helps.
